Maia Sandu, the head of state, the candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the position of President of the country, today submitted the signatures collected for registration in the electoral race of October 20, informs TRIBUNA.
Also, a package of documents necessary for registration was submitted to the Central Electoral Commission.
“I submitted today to the Central Electoral Commission 25 thousand signatures, out of the more than 28 thousand collected, in order to be registered as a candidate for the October 20 presidential elections. Thanks to every single person who signed, for every word of encouragement. I thank the collectors for their work. The support I have seen these days convinces me that we are a big family of people who want to see their country prosperous and European. Together we can do great things. Thank you!”, said Maia Sandu.
We specify that, for the registration of a candidate for the position of President, between 15,000 and 25,000 valid signatures are required.
We remind you that the first candidate registered in the electoral race, who submitted the signatures, is Alexandr Stoianoglo – nominated by the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova.
