The Federal Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, will pay a working visit to the Republic of Moldova on August 21, at the invitation of President Maia Sandu, informs TRIBUNA. 

This visit emphasizes the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, Germany being one of the most important partners of the Republic of Moldova in the process of modernization and accession of our country to the European Union.

The last bilateral visit of a German chancellor to the Republic of Moldova took place 12 years ago.
