The Central Electoral Commission established the ceiling of the financial means that can be transferred to the “Electoral Fund” account of the participants in the constitutional republican referendum and the electoral contestants in the elections for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the amount of the interest-free credit granted to the electoral contestants in the elections presidential elections of October 20, 2024, informs TRIBUNA. 

Thus, the general ceiling at the national level of the funds that can be transferred to the “Electoral Fund” account and used by the electoral contestants in the presidential framework and by the participants in the republican constitutional referendum is 65,830,540.00 lei.

Electoral contestants in the presidential elections can also request interest-free credit in the amount of 50,000.00 lei. The method of granting and repaying interest-free loans to electoral contestants in order to conduct the electoral campaign is established by regulation, approved by order of the Minister of Finance.
