56 projects of normative acts were voted in the plenary session of the Parliament during the month of April. 18 of them were approved in the first reading, and 38 were adopted in the second reading. Also, in the same period, 35 draft normative acts entered the legislative procedure, informs TRIBUNA.
26 of the adopted acts were laws, and 12 – decisions. Also, four legislative initiatives aimed at harmonizing national legislation with that of the European Union. Deputies voted in the second reading on the draft law that provides for the piloting of voting by mail, specifying in the legislation the criteria for selecting the countries in which this alternative method of exercising the right to vote will be implemented. The legislative initiative was also adopted through which non-taxable allowances will be granted for increasing access to quality education, as well as the one through which the process of business administration and interaction of entrepreneurs with state institutions is simplified.
During the same period, the permanent commissions convened in 35 meetings, at which 43 reports, 11 reports and 98 opinions were approved. The economy, budget and finance committee approved ten reports, three joint reports and two opinions. The members of the Judiciary, Appointments and Immunities Committee approved eight reports and one co-report, and the members of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee approved ten reports and co-reports.
