Seven decades ago, on May 9, 1950, the foundation stone was laid for the peace and unity enjoyed by the countries of the European Union. And in the Republic of Moldova on this day, Europe Day is marked, a day on which, according to the head of state, we celebrate our desire to be part of the European family and our path to a life of well-being, safety and good understanding for all Moldovans. On this occasion, President Maia Sandu came with an exhortation to all citizens, informs TRIBUNA.
“We invite you all, together with family and friends, to celebrate Europe Day together in the Great National Assembly Square at an event organized by the Government of the Republic of Moldova in collaboration with the delegation of the European Union.
We will discuss the things that Moldova is proud of, you will have the opportunity to talk with the cabinet of ministers, visit the Government House with the children, learn about the projects through which we are building European Moldova and enjoy the concert on the evening of May 9.
Europe is you! We are the European Moldova!” said the official.
