Between April 18-20, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi will undertake an official visit to Washington DC, where he will participate in the meeting of the Strategic Dialogue Republic of Moldova – United States of America. During the visit, Minister Popșoi will also participate in the Moldovan-American Convention.

Minister Popșoi will have a series of meetings with American officials including the US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources, Richard Verma, the special assistant to President Biden, Michael Carpenter, the co-chairs of the friendship group for Moldova within the US Congress, Michael Lawler and Deborah K Ross.

At the same time, the head of diplomacy of the Republic of Moldova, Mihai Popșoi, will give a public lecture at Georgetown University, where he will discuss the reform agenda of the Chisinau Government, the consequences of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine on the region, but also the progress in our EU accession process.
