32% of citizens intend to vote for Maia Sandu, the current head of state, in the presidential election in autumn 2024 – according to the survey published by the International Republican Institute – IRI Moldova, informs TRIBUNA.
25% would vote for Igor Dodon, the leader of the socialists, 7% would vote for Ion Ceban, the mayor of the capital, and 5% – for Ion Chicu, the leader of the PDCM.
At the same time, 67% said they will vote, and 23% are most likely to vote.
Note: The survey, commissioned by IRI, was conducted between January 27 and February 22, 2024, on a sample of 1247 respondents. The margin of error is 2.8%.
