The Pre-Vetting Commission has been informed that the decision of the Commission regarding the candidate Vasile Plevan, that is not public, has been publicly disseminated on at least one social media channel. This is of particular concern to the Commission because the decision contains private information about individuals who are not participants in the pre-vetting evaluation. Such dissemination may be in violation of law.
According to art. 13 para. (7) of Law no. 26/2022 and in accordance with its standard practice, decisions of the Pre-Vetting Commission are first sent only to the candidate, via e-mail, and then to the institution responsible for organizing the competition, which in this case is the Superior Council of Prosecutors. These legal provisions were followed by the Commission in this instance as in all others.
The Commission will only publish the decision, in a depersonalized form, if the candidate agrees or if he does not notify the Commission within 48 hours, according to art. 13 para. (7) of Law No. 26/2022.
