The Pre-Vetting Commission announces the result of the evaluation of Dumitru Obadă, candidate for the position of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP). According to the Commission, Dumitru Obadă passes the evaluation, being compliant with the ethical and financial integrity criteria. The decision was sent today to the candidate and to the institution responsible for organizing the competition, in this case the SCP.

Dumitru Obadă was interviewed by the Pre-Vetting Commission on April 21, in the context of financial and ethical integrity evaluation of the candidates for the position of member in the self-administration body of prosecutors. Candidate currently holds the position of Government Agent of the Republic of Moldova at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), but maintains his status as a prosecutor and is entitled to run for a seat in the SCP.
