The InSpirArt artists’ community handed the “Madonna” painting signed by Cristina Balan and Olesea Muntean to Viorel Godea, CEO of Lagmar company.
The painting has been sold at a silent auction during InSpirArt’s exhibition in Bucharest “I Walk the Line. We Walk the Spiral”, hosted by Creart and Galateca.
The money has been donated to Hospices of Hope Moldova. It will be used to develop a new centre in Chisinau for palliative care of adults and children with terminal illness, including refugees from Ukraine.
The artwork will be placed in the new orthodox church, currently under construction, developed by Viorel Godea in his home village of Cornesti, Ungheni district, Moldova.
