Ambassador Logsdon and USAID Mission Director Scott Hocklander met Minister of Labor and Social Protection Buzu to discuss the strong cooperation between our two countries and to congratulate the Minister for his recent appointment.

Ambassador Logsdon commended Minister Buzu for the resumption of unannounced labor inspections and other decisions and policies that will make Moldova a safer and more just place to live and work.

The Ambassador also thanked the Minister for Moldova’s continued support to refugees forced to flee Ukraine because of Russia’s war of aggression there.
