The chairperson of the “SHOR” Party, Ilan Shor, warns the authorities that he will call people to the streets to protest if Moldova supports sanctions against Russia. At the same time, Ilan Shor reiterates that if such a decision is taken, Moldovan citizens will endure hunger, cold and poverty. 

„By carrying out the orders of their masters in the West, the Moldovan authorities are exposing the citizens of our country to huge threats. If, Lord forbid, the scoundrels in government vote to apply sanctions against the Russian Federation, I reserve myself the right to call the people to the streets. I will do this on behalf of the interests of my country and its citizens”, Ilan Shor said in a video on his Facebook page.

At the same time, Ilan Shor advises those in power to think very carefully before taking such a stupid decision.

„Aligning with sanctions against Russia is like shooting yourself in the foot and then crying of being poor because of Russian aggression. Therefore, before making such a decision, I urge you to think with your empty heads. Politics is not about meekly following your masters’ orders. Politics is built on the basis of the interests of its own citizens, which the representatives of the government are obliged to respect”, pointed out Ilan Shor.
