The two heads of state discussed about the European Commission’s recommendation to grant Moldova the status of EU candidate country and our country’s European course.
President Gitanas Nauseda confirmed Lithuania’s support for our European aspirations, including for offering the status of EU candidate country at the European Council on 23-24 June. President Maia Sandu thanked President Gitanas Nauseda for the political support at the EU level and for Lithuania’s assistance to our country over the years. President Maia Sandu expressed her wish to advance bilateral cooperation.
