The leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM), Igor Dodon stated that, regarding the issue of COVID-19 vaccines, first of all, our country must receive humanitarian aid, including from the Russian Federation, informs Tribuna.
“I hope that this will happen as soon as possible, in parallel there should be purchases from public money and only after that we will talk about vaccines that will be sold commercially by pharmaceutical companies in the Republic of Moldova,” said Dodon, during his live show “Igor Dodon responds”.
He also said that otherwise , if the marketing of vaccines starts first, it would not be fair. “Firstly, the state must provide with vaccines the people who need them for free of charge from the state’s account. And if someone else does it privately, let them do it, as it is all over the world. But, first of all, people must be vaccinated on state account: from the vaccines purchased from the state money or from the account of humanitarian aid “, Igor Dodon specified.
