President Maia Sandu announced that today a batch of vaccines is coming to the Republic of Moldova. In total, by the end of March, 46 thousand doses of vaccine will reach our country through the Covax platform and another 50 thousand — from the donation offered by Romania, informs TRIBUNA.
Therefore, Sandu said that he asked the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection to prepare as efficiently as possible the process of distributing the vaccine to the vaccination centers and to ensure an increase in the number of people vaccinated per day.
“The vaccine saves lives, and any day of delay means more patients and more lost lives. We are still doing everything in our power to bring vaccines for as many people as possible,” Sandu notes on Facebook.
Until it’s everyone’s turn to get vaccinated, the head of state precise: “Please, all of you, be vigilant and responsible let us protect our lives and health. The danger is very great, the hospitals are full and the doctors exhausted. It is in our power to stop the spread of this ruthless virus.”
