Moldovan acting PM has meeting with Romania's Ambassador to Moldova

Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today received Ambassador of Romania to Moldova Daniel Ionita. The sides exchanged opinions on the cooperation on the bilateral agendas in diverse fields and boosting the relations between the two states, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.  

As a priority, the two officials discussed the epidemiological situation on the two banks of the Prut river and the sanitary system’s capacity to cope with the pressures and the number of daily infections.

The Bucharest diplomat reiterated Romania’s willingness to provide the needed support to Moldova, including the anti-Covid-19 vaccine. In the context, Aureliu Ciocoi noted that the medical and sanitary institutions from Moldova were prepared for starting the vaccination process.

The acting prime minister thanked the Romanian authorities for the support provided during time in the process of modernization of education institutions, deepening the economic and commercial relations, backing for the European integration process and especially for the generous support offered on the period of the Covid-19 pandemic.
