United States Ambassador to Moldova, Dereck J. Hogan, on Thursday met with Interior Minister, Pavel Voicu, to hand over a donation of equipment that Ministry staff will use as they fight the coronavirus pandemic – TRIBUNA reports.

The humanitarian assistance was donated by the U.S. military’s European Command, and is in addition to more than $1 million in pandemic-related aid the United States already has given Moldova.

The ambassador told Minister Voicu the United States remains a steadfast partner during the pandemic, and said: „We will be here after this crisis ends, too, working with Moldova.
