The US State Department said that the elections on February 24 in Moldova were competitive and expressed the will of the people, the department called for dialogue in the country’s political conflict.
“The United States calls on all parties in Moldova to show restraint and agree through political dialogue,” the State Department said in a statement, reports ria.ru
“The parliamentary elections of February 24 were competitive, supporting basic human rights. The will of the Moldavian people expressed in these elections should be respected without interference,” the State Department stressed, promising the country further support.
Recall the Party of Socialists and the ACUM bloc formed on Saturday a parliamentary majority, and after three months of waiting, the country received a new government.
