The Party of National Unity (PUN) took note of the results of the February 24 elections, of their recognition by the international bodies, as well as by the strategic partners of the Republic of Moldova – Romania and the United States of America.
As TRIBUNA informs, according to a press release, the results of the elections, in the context of the mixed system and administrative social conditions, is a victory against the pro-Russian forces and a signal given by voters to relaunch the process of rapprochement with the Union EU.
“The Party of National Unity considers that the decision to participate or not participate in the governance of the pro-European parties – PAS, PPDA and members of civil society – belongs exclusively to them. However, taking into account the dangers to which the Republic of Moldova is exposed, the Party of National Unity recommends to the political parties in the bloc NOW that, before making decisions about participation or non-participation in the creation of a governing alliance, whatever its form, or at least to hold talks with the strategic partners of the Republic of Moldova – Romania and the United States of America. The Party of National Unity considers that Romania and the USA have played an important role in the development of the Republic of Moldova in signing the association agreement with the European Union and can provide the necessary expertise. “
