“All the pressure put on the bloc NOW  to create a PSRM coalition for the” situational “elimination of the PD from power has a clear purpose: to create a fairly credible story for the true PD-PSRM alliance, still planned from 2016 (and earlier, but from 2016 it became evident) “. This was announced by the former leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM), currently the vice-president of the party, Viorel Cibotaru, in a post on a social network, TRIBUNA informs.

“After the repeated and categorical rejection of the bloc NOW, to get into this trap, the socialists will say to their voters:” you see, we would be ready to give the PD down but there was no other solution, Sandu and Nastase are guilty! We have no other solution to save the country, we unite with the PD, “he added.

At the same time, Cibotaru referred to some actions of the Democratic Party. “I’m waiting for another move of PD. To propose, concretely, to the bloc NOW, a hyper-European program and reformist. Approaching NATO, EU membership, integration programs and intensive cooperation with Romania, the 50/50 government (and the post of prime minister, of course!) But in this program there will be a  comma that will annihilate the virtual proposal. This is to demotivate the West: “you see how far we were ready to go …” Again Maia and Andrei are guilty, “the former leader of the party wrote.

He also provided further details in this regard. “Good variants, however, are not. Miracle solutions – not even. As it was anticipated by more people, we expect a long and hard “positional war”, “wrestle”  in parliament, in public institutions, in the territory. Ready with slogans, more exhausting work of analysis, monitoring, observing, criticizing, unmasking, and depicting the corrupt power being re-installed. And strikes, protests, demonstrations, any kind of national resistance, if necessary, to establish the values that we share and we cannot give up, “Cibotaru said.

He, therefore, spoke about some actions of other parties as well of the civil society. “It would be well for the right-wing, pro-European and pro-Romanian political parties lost in the transition to regain and rebuild, to gather their ranks and to engage effectively and jointly in this movement of resistance, which does not have to die or deflate. The civil society (the associative sector, independent experts and corporate affiliates, free-lance activists, bloggers, alternative mass media, progressive priests, beta-unionists, teachers and researchers) must re-invent, revive, re-optimize, dynamic and more self-sustainable, more ingenious and … more optimistic, after all! Please give peace to the new politicians, on a higher level, who have entered a new hora to manifest themselves in plenary, to invent something new, to amaze us with something else.  Do not bother them anymore and learn what to do. Let alone. And we will help them not slip and not fall into the labyrinths of power … “, concluded Cibotaru.
