Sergei Cataranciuc - what prompted him to enter politics

In an interview for TRIBUNA, doctor of Mathematical Sciences and candidate of the electoral bloc “ACUM” in single-mandate constituency № 13 Sergey Cataranciuc spoke about what prompted him to enter politics.

“The decision to seriously engage in politics was caused by all that is happening in the country. For 27 years of independence, we have nothing to boast about in education, economy, health care, science, and the country’s GDP is at a level that is below the level of 1990 (calculated at comparable prices). Failures, manipulations and crimes before the people are obvious. It is extremely important for us to realize this and give this government a rebuff, including through a vote on February 24,” he said.

“Seeing everything that is happening, I realized that it is my duty to intervene and engage in political activities to liberate my country from the captivity in which it is”, – said Sergey Cataranciuc.
