The Association of Employers of the Manufacturing Industry (APIP) organized the General Assembly, in which was presented the report of activity of Association, as well as new projects, TRIBUNA informs.
At the beginning of the meeting, APIP President, Marin Ciobanu, referred to three subjects:‘’”First, the Engineering College, the second – the Interconnection Program between Large Corporations and IMM-s in the Republic of Moldova and the Strategy of the industrial development 2019 – 2030. We are very glad that we have succeeded in restarting the Engineering College. It is a great achievement that directly implements the dual education system and we practically managed to launch this College in this year of study. We wanted to do something that would later be implemented at country level. I say that we succeeded, we have the first two groups, we go on two specialities: mechatronics and industrial equipment. The hardest was to find teachers who have great experience in this field. We were able to find them.
Regarding the question of interconnection of large enterprises with IMMs, we have been working on this topic for a long time. Of about 35,000 companies, we selected 300 that have the industrial capacity to be connected to large corporations. We have a database of companies that can connect. We also have a databaseof products imported from abroad. We have in the budget 500,000 euros for this project for 3 years from the donors and another 1,8 million euros from the Government of the Republic of Moldova and according to the document we have 30-36 mln. euros for the whole program.
The strategy of industrial development includes a plan of actions for the development of 4 indicators.
The main purpose of this strategy is to increase competitiveness, productivity, create new jobs, qualify workforce and focus on innovations, “said Marin Ciobanu.
According to the censor of APIP, from 2014 to 2018, the number of members of the Association increased from 14 members to 28.
At the same time, was presented the Strategy of the industrial development for 2019-2030 at the meeting.
According to the authors, the implementation of this Strategy requires an amount of 857 million lei. The money will be used from the state budget, from donations and investments. The document contains a detailed study of the priority directions regarding the industrialization of the country and a concrete Plan of actions for the implementation of the Strategy.
