Promo-LEX Association today presented the fourth report regarding the observation mission of the parliamentary elections of 24 February, TRIBUNA informs.

 At the same time, the director of Promo-Lex, Pavel Postica referred to some intimidations. “Unfortunately, new cases of intimidation of observers are attested. There are cases where our local colleagues are intimidated. The representatives of local government are also involved in such activities, “he said.

Therefore Postica provided details regarding the report. “The 4th report reflects observations that were disputed between January 23 and February 5, 2019. Often women are placed at the bottom of the list. Most of the rejections of candidates in the electoral race are in the constituency no. 48, here are 6 cases. If we talk about parties, the National Liberal Party – 5 rejection requests, the Sor Party and Our Party – 4, the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova – 3, the Liberal Party – 2, the  Dignity and Truth Platform and the bloc NOW – 1 ” said Postica.

At the same time, he spoke about the performance of electoral contestants. “Electoral competitors have suddenly become very active. The most active is the PSRM candidates – 38%, the Democratic Party – 26%, the Sor Party – 24%. At the same time, there are 4 instances of offering gifts. In 3 of them are involved the representatives of the Sor Party and in one case PSRM representatives. Electoral contestants are quite transparent in reporting visible spending. It is more complicated to report the cost of labor remuneration, transport, the organization of events. 5 cases were recorded when electoral contestants were trained to use denigrating speech, “he said.

According to Promo-LEX, the 5th report regarding the observation mission of the parliamentary elections on 24 February 2019 will also be published.
