The Institute for Public Politics (IPP) launched the website www.alege2019.md – an online platform informing you about the constituency in which you will vote in the February 24th parliamentary elections.

As TRIBUNA informs, according to a press release, www.alege2019.md was designed as a simple and useful platform that gives you answers to the questions: in what constituency do I vote for? who are the candidates they I can choose? who are these candidates?

“On www.alege2019.md you can quickly identify the constituency in which you will vote by a simple search by the name of the locality, or, if you are from Chisinau, by address (street and block number). Once your constituency has been identified through an interactive map, you can access the list of all candidates in the constituency. On the pages of the candidates, you will learn more about them: biographical data, professional and political activity, personal income statements and personal interests, as well as journalistic investigations that have appeared over time. And if you have a candidate you are interested in, you can find it directly by entering its name in the search field”, is said in the press release.

“We all want a more complete and professional Parliament, and the informed voter is one of the essential conditions for it. The platform www.alege2019.md offers the citizens the opportunity to get informed and to create their own opinions about the candidates from the uninominal constituencies, thus becoming informed voters, not just ordinary voters, “said Arcadie Barbarosie, the  Executive Director of the Institute of Public Politics, when launching the site.
