Moldovan electoral body registers electoral candidates on behalf of Our Party

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today registered the electoral contenders in the national district on behalf of Our Party.

The formation’s list includes 54 candidates. At the same time, the Commission registered also the electoral symbol of this party.

CEC has earlier registered the electoral candidates on behalf of more formations, among which: Democratic Party of Moldova, electoral bloc ACUM – Dignity and Truth Platform and Action and Solidarity Party, Party of Communists, Shor Party, etc.

The nomination of candidates for the MP seats for the national electoral district and each uninominal district ends 30 days before the polls. The electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections will start on 25 January, one month ahead of the elections.

The parliamentary polls due on 24 February will be held according to a mixed electoral system; the MPs are to be elected both on party lists and in uninominal districts.
