Prime Minister Pavel Filip had a telephone conversation today with President of Romania Klaus Iohannis, and congratulated him on Romania’s National Day, marked on 1 December, and Centenary of Great Union, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The premier thanked for the constant support for Moldova. The latest manifestation of this support is yesterday promulgation of the law on construction of highway Târgu Mureș – Iași – Ungheni, including the bridge over the Prut river in Ungheni.

There are many other important projects under completion, including: lower roaming tariffs, continuation of rehabilitation programs for kindergartens and schools, and energy interconnection projects.

The premier also expressed gratitude for Romania’s support in European path. The two officials agreed to intensely dialogue during the term of office of Romanian Presidency of Council of EU to advance the European integration process of Moldova.
