Kirill Luchinsky remains under house arrest

Chisinau Buiucani sector court extended house arrest for another 30 days for the former deputy of the PLDM, son of Moldova ex-President Petr Luchinsky.

The petition of Luchinsky’s lawyers to change the measure of restraint was rejected in connection with the presence, in addition to Moldovan, of Romanian and Russian citizenship.

The prosecution said that in the near future witnesses who were financially dependent on the businessman would be heard.

Recall that the former deputy and businessman was detained by officers of the National Anti-Corruption Center on suspicion of money laundering in especially large amounts. Since May 25 this year, he is under house arrest.
