The Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) is ready to take part in the parliamentary elections of 2018 together with the Political Party “Platform Dignity and Truth”, (PPPDA) under a common list, IPN reports.

“As a result of a number of approaches made by representatives of the press, the PAS specifies that in its October 7, 2017 meeting, the National Political Council of the PAS confirmed the party’s readiness to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections together with the PPPDA. We informed our partners that we are ready to take part under a common list,” said the PAS.

The party notes that the concrete mechanism for forming the list will be agreed closer to the elections. The PAS also proposed constituting a joint commission for choosing candidates, with the participation of representatives of civil society, so as to make sure that the most suitable and upright candidates are put on the list.

“We are confident that we will build an efficient partnership, based on cooperation, honesty and good understanding between the two parties. We are convinced that the Plahotniuc-Dodon regime can be destroyed and things in Moldova can be returned to normality only if the authentic pro-European forces unite,” says the press release issued by the PAS.
