Victory Day at Orhei marked by a concert. See what message the mayor Ilan Shor sent to the veterans

For the second consecutive year, the Victory Day has been marked in Orhei by a concert and other cultural-artistic events, as TRIBUNA reports.

The feast began with the march of public authorities, students, veterans and the residents of the city, accompanied by the fanfare of Orhei Cultural House, flower-laying ceremony, and a concert with local artists was organized in the evening in Ivanos Park.

The participant of the Voice Kids contest – Iuliana Beregoi, the Orchestra of the Teleradio Moldova Company directed by Gheorghe Mustea, the emeritus artist Igor Himici, as well as other musical and dance ensembles delighted the audience from Orhei with soul melodies in memory of those fallen on the battlefield.

Ivanos Park was specially arranged for the elderly. Benches were located, so that older people would be able to admire the concert until the end of the concert.

The climax was created by the songs performed by Iuliana Beregoi and emeritus artist Igor Himici, who performed a recital together with the Symphonic Orchestra of the Teleradio-Moldova Company, the first conductor Gheorghe Mustea.

Through their recitals, the artists have managed to awaken indescribable emotions to all those present, especially to the veterans, who still remember with tears in their eyes the Victory Day, Day of Freedom and Tolerance.

Through his lawyers, mayor of Orhei, Ilan Sor sent a message of thanks and gratitude to veterans who showed patriotism and courage.

Moreover, this year all veterans from Orhei received a financial aid of 10,000 lei from the mayor.
