Chisinau municipal councillor appointed member of Moldovan central electoral commission

The parliament today appointed a Chisinau municipal councilor on behalf of the Party of Socialists (PSRM),Vadim Filipov, as member of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

The decision was taken, after the presidential adviser in the juridical and international relations field, Maxim Lebedinschi, had submitted an application on resignation from the post of CEC member, on grounds of incompatibility of the two offices.

Also today, the parliament appointed Violeta Andries as member of the Court of Accounts for a five-year mandate.

Also, the parliament today declared vacant the mandate of the former lawmaker of the Liberal Democratic Party, Chiril Lucinschi.
