Association Promo – LEX has stated more violations of development of the process of the presidential election. The declaration was made today by the chairman of the organization and the chief of the observers’ mission Promo – LEX Pavel Postica, at a press conference.

According to the cited source, in five cases the observers encountered problems regarding the free access in the voting stations. “In sixty cases it was depicted the presence of electoral announcement within a range of less than one hundred metres from the polling stations. It happened in localities, like: Chisinau, Calarasi, Ungheni, Causeni, Ialoveni and Floresti,” said Postica.

At the same time, there have been found out at least three cases of electioneering. Also, in four cases it was noted the organized transporting of voters, all of these being registered in Transnistrian region of Moldova. The chief of the observers’ mission Promo – LEX specified that it was recorded even a case of voters intimidation.

The observers reported that in five cases, there were encountered difficulties of unsealing the voting boxes. Similarly, eighty five voting stations in Moldova were opened fifteen minutes later. Also, there occurred temporary ceases of electricity.

For the runoff of the presidential election, association Promo – LEX accredited about two thousand observers in Moldova and around forty ones abroad.
