Prime Minister Pavel Filip has met Vice-President of the European Commission, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. The event took place in New York, in the context of the United Nations works, and was focused on Moldova’s European progress, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.

Implementation of commitments assumed within the Association Agreement represented one of the key-issues of the discussion.

In the context, Filip reiterated the government’s determination to ensure applying the reforms. The premier informed about fulfillment of over 90 per cent of provisions set in the roadmap on reform agenda and efforts made for enforcing this document. The new Association Agenda with EU will have an important role to this end.
