The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, thanked the Moldovan athletes who participated in the Olympic Games in Paris, informs TRIBUNA.

“Champions of Moldova at the Olympic Games, thank you! Whether you brought home medals or fought until the last second, you are our pride!

Moldova experienced beautiful emotions in unison, together with the 26 athletes who represented our country in Paris. This year our athletes wrote history – it is the first time that Moldova wins so many medals!

The medals and victories obtained are more than sports awards, they show that we can be a society of winners”, said Maia Sandu.
