The pro-presidential Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova, for ideological reasons, cannot create alliances with the rightists or the democrats. This was said in an interview with Sputnik radio station by the President of Moldova Igor Dodon, noting that this was a matter of principle.

“How can socialists who advocate neutrality create coalitions with those who are in favor of NATO? How can the PSRM, which advocates preservation of the statehood, our history and religion, be together with those who march on with sexual minorities and stand for the liquidation of Moldova? This will not happen,” the Head of State assured.
