Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu issued an appeal to certain politicians in the context of drones that flew today over the airspace of the Republic of Moldova.

“To mock the fall of drones on our territory — especially when this is done by politicians and members of Parliament — is both serious and dangerous. Such narratives of ridicule fit into the old tactic of undermining our institutions and diminishing the statehood of the Republic of Moldova.

I call on such politicians to put aside the notes sent by a foreign state and to think about the security of families in Moldova, because we all live here. Condemn the war, condemn the intrusion into our airspace, and remember that you serve the Republic of Moldova,” he declared.
