The General Mayor of Chișinău Municipality, Ion Ceban, held a meeting with Hubert Knirsch, the Ambassador of Germany to the Republic of Moldova, TRIBUNA reports.

“Together, we discussed the development directions of Chișinău and the projects we can implement with the support of the Embassy and the German state. We also talked about projects funded by European sources, energy efficiency, infrastructure, the implementation of technologies across various sectors, and the strengthening of educational institutions,” he stated.

Ion Ceban also thanked the ambassador for the congratulations received on the occasion of Chișinău’s City Day and emphasized the municipality’s openness to new collaborations with cities in Germany.

Chișinău City Hall already enjoys a strong partnership with the city of Mannheim, with which it has carried out several joint projects, and this friendship continues to yield positive results for both sides.
