The Political Bureau of the Home Building Europe Party (PACE) met in session and decided that the party will participate in this year’s presidential elections and is examining all the formulas for the next President of the Republic of Moldova to truly be the guarantor of the Constitution. In this sense, the PACE Party is already in advanced discussions with 3 independent candidates, who aspire to this high office in the state, and with 3 political entities, who have requested support, informs TRIBUNA.

Also in the meeting, the Bureau approved the applications for the accession of several notorious personalities to become party members, whose identity will be made public and promoted during the ordinary Congress of 25.08.2024, during which some of them will be advance to party leadership positions.

“The Politburo of the PACE Party analyzed and questioned the way of organizing the internal and foreign policy of Great Britain and Switzerland – countries that are a model for PACE, countries with a benchmark democracy, economy and justice system. And the consultations were initiated with the Moldovans in the country, from the autonomy of Gagauzia, from the diaspora, the procedure for changing the party’s statute, the visions, exactly according to the Swiss and British model, which put the national interest of their own citizens in the foreground. And on 25.08.2024, within the framework of the PACE Congress, the respective changes will be proposed” – the statement also says.
