The candidate of the bloc NOW for the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on the constituency no. 51 US and Canada, Dumitru Alaiba, won the mandate by 49.05%, which is the vote of 2206 citizens.
As TRIBUNA informs, in a post on a social networking site, Dumitru Alaiba wrote that he had doubts at the start of this campaign.
I was afraid. After that, I met you, the ones you gave me the vote. You have helped me to believe more and more in what I do. You have given me more and more clarity, faith and hope. And you have encouraged me. And you got me in your homes. Thank you for your vote and for trust. I’m going to fight for you and for those at home, I’ll work as hard as I can, and for nothing in the world I will not sell myself. A humble thank you, to those who made the effort to sometimes walk thousands of miles to the polling station. In Western Diaspora, vote the free people, and thieves fear the vote of the free people. It is our victory, of all. The fight is just beginning”, Alaiba wrote.
